Reynolds Restoration Services is looking for a full-time energetic and experienced Staff Accountant. We are searching for someone who is passionate about their work and is looking to expand and grow with our successful and reputable company. Essential Functions:
- Perform all aspects of payroll administration ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Prepare and issue year end W-2 and 1099 documents.
- Responsible for State, Local and Federal Government reporting.
- Coordinate with HR and management to ensure accuracy of payroll and benefit deductions.
- Job cost accounting and job cost reconciliation (analytical/evaluation cost).
- Monthly preparation of job cost work in progress reports.
- Provide support to project managers in relation to their project cost accounting and monthly reporting.
- Perform General Ledger analysis and reconciliation.
- Assist CFO with period reports and statements.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent of 5 years proven payroll experience). Certified Payroll Professional a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processes and financial concepts with excellent analytical skills for data entry and financial analysis.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with others.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
