Reynolds Restoration Services is looking for a full-time energetic and experienced Staff Accountant. Essential Functions:

  • Perform all aspects of payroll administration ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Prepare and issue year end W-2 and 1099 documents.
  • Responsible for State, Local and Federal Government reporting.
  • Coordinate with HR and management to ensure accuracy of payroll and benefit deductions.
  • Job cost accounting and job cost reconciliation (analytical/evaluation cost).
  • Monthly preparation of job cost work in progress reports.
  • Provide support to project managers in relation to their project cost accounting and monthly reporting.
  • Perform General Ledger analysis and reconciliation.
  • Assist CFO with period reports and statements.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent of 5 years proven payroll experience). Certified Payroll Professional a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processes and financial concepts with excellent analytical skills for data entry and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with others.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
