Project Background
Reynolds Restoration Services was hired by the Upper Dauphin Area School District and School Claims Services for emergency mitigation and mold remediation of the elementary school. The school was damaged by water intrusions that occurred during a large-scale roofing project. Reynolds Restoration Services set up temporary containment and mobilized drying equipment in affected areas while the school remained operational in preparation for the new class year.
Mold contamination was remediated, and several thousand books were inspected, cleaned, and put back into service. Classroom cabinetry was replaced, ductwork cleaned and sealed, and multiple ACT ceilings were replaced.
The building was dried, decontaminated, deodorized, and stabilized within 10 days at an overall cost of $73,000.
