Scott Landis joined the Reynolds Restoration Services team in Harrisburg in September 2022, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for construction to his role. As a project manager and estimator, Scott is responsible for overseeing projects from the initial estimate through to completion. His duties include monitoring field inspections, liaising with insurance adjustors and owners, coordinating contractors and vendors, overseeing quality assurance and budget management, and serving as the main point of contact for all stakeholders.
Before joining Reynolds Restoration Services, Scott spent most of his career in the electronics industry, where he held various positions such as technician, engineer, designer, and purchasing representative. Despite finding the industry rewarding, Scott sought a new challenge, which led him to the restoration field.
Scott’s passion for construction was ignited at a young age, learning trade skills from his father. This early interest translated into various side jobs during high school and eventually into a successful side business specializing in home improvement and renovation projects. This extensive background facilitated his smooth transition into the restoration industry.
What drives Scott in his work is his profound desire to serve others. He finds great satisfaction in helping homeowners recover from losses and return to their homes. “My love language is service,” Scott shares. “I enjoy getting people back into their homes where they can feel safe again. To us, the loss is routine, but to them, it’s likely a life-changing event.”
Outside of work, Scott remains active in residential construction projects to keep his trade skills sharp. When he’s not working with his hands, he enjoys spending time with his wife of almost 26 years, Tracy. Together, they cherish moments with their large, blended family of six children and five grandchildren, ranging in age from 2 to 10. You’ll often find Scott and Tracy on the sidelines, enthusiastically cheering on their grandkids at various activities at least once a week. Scott is also a volunteer firefighter with the Union Deposit Fire Co.
Scott, born and raised just outside of Hershey, now resides in the Hummelstown area with his wife, daughter, granddaughter, and their beloved dog, Kotter. This summer, they are eagerly looking forward to a family vacation at Bethany Beach, where they will be joined by their extended family for some fun and relaxation.
