Nearly a decade ago, Todd Leakway became part of the Reynolds Restoration Services team as a mitigation technician in our Harrisburg office. Last year, he was promoted to emergency services field supervisor. In this capacity, Todd oversees emergency projects, ensuring clients’ needs are consistently met. He also collaborates closely with field teams, ensuring they receive adequate training, equipment, and resources necessary for the successful completion of every project.

Ask Todd what he does, though, and you’ll get a slightly different answer. “We see people sometimes at their worst and try to make their situation better. We are one of the first to respond after someone loses their home to a fire or a flood. It’s our job to not only help them with the logistics of getting back on their feet but also help them through a very emotional time,” shares Todd.

Before working at Reynolds Restoration Services, Todd had extensive experience with other restoration services companies in the region. When asked why he stays at Reynolds Restoration, Todd quickly shares it comes down to the company culture. “Reynolds is by far the best place I have worked,” shares Todd. “If you have a problem, there are plenty of people to turn to. Everyone here cares more. I don’t feel like a number. I feel like part of a family.”

Todd thrives on the variety of the restoration industry. “It’s never a dull moment. This isn’t a typical cookie-cutter job where you do the same thing over and over. It’s challenging, and not for everyone, but it’s what I love most about working in restoration. Each day we face challenges and have to problem solve and really think about the best way to approach an issue,” says Todd.

Outside of work, Todd is likely found spending time with his wife of four decades, Helen. During the warmer months, they like to spend the weekends camping in their pop-up with family, including two children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild! Todd also likes to hit the road on his Honda cruiser. Todd and his wife live with their two rescues Nyla, a rottweiler German shepherd, and Jenna, a mischievous mastiff Pitbull, in York Haven.
