Richard Commo to head Reynolds Restoration Services' Emergency ServicesMeet Rich Commo

Describe what you do at Reynolds Restoration Services.

I am the Director of Emergency Services. I oversee the emergency response efforts in our three locations: Harrisburg and King of Prussia, PA, and Elkridge, MD.

How long have you worked in the restoration services industry?

I have been in the restoration and recovery industry for about 20 years.

How has the industry changed since you first started?

The industry was driven by insurance adjusters when I first started. It has become more end-user and third-party administrator driven.

What is unique about working in the restoration services industry?

Since you never know where the next loss will take place, your plans for a day, week, or month could change in one phone call. You never know where you will be at any given time.

What is your favorite thing about working for Reynolds Restoration Services?

There is a really great group of people that I work with. I enjoy interacting and working alongside them.

What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?

Although my family is from the Philadelphia area, I was born in Texas. My father was stationed there during the Vietnam war and I was born in the base hospital.

What movies do you have to sit down and watch when they come on TV?

The Godfather and Rocky

What are some side projects or hobbies you have outside the office?

I was the head of the set building crew for my children’s performing arts department at their high school for seven years. Since they have both graduated recently, my wife and I have been traveling and working on projects at our home.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Professional ice hockey player
